Having installed our Linotop Sports Floor into the then new sports centre some 19 years ago, the university took the decision to replace the floor with the same system. The process of removing the old system which consisted of the removal of the Sport Linoleum, 2mm of sheet Steel and a foam underlayment took about a week. The shipment of the new system from the continent arrived directly on schedule and was mechanically of-loaded. The reverse procedure of the uplift then began by the laying of the foam layer followed by 2 layers of 1mm steel sheet and then the sport Linoleum.
