Following the successful replacement of the flood damaged floor at Beal High School, 4Runner Sport Surfaces were asked to Refurbish the Small Gym on their old campus.
The building had not been used for several years due to the state of the old timber floor and building fabric.
Following roof repairs, 4Runner Sport Surfaces removed the old timber floor and installed a new beam area elastic sprung floor, 4Sport Xcel SBS (http://sporthallflooring.co.uk/sports-surfaces/sprung-floor-systems) which was capable of covering the heating trenches and old indoor pole vault practise trough and mat recesses within the old rough concrete subfloor. Old wall mounted sports equipment was removed and the walls redecorated.
Line marking was applied to the Gerflor DLW Sport Linoleum finish using specialist line marking paint to provide basketball shooting key’s, bleep tests track and 5aside D’s. New timber skirting was fitted to the perimeter and aluminum movement joint at door thresholds.
